Caedmon and I first attended Sugar Plum Tea Party 3 years ago and then Coppelia and my mom and I went 2 years ago. This year however Caedmon got to be in it since he is going to be Fritz in the Nutcracker and he was very excited. They had two shows, the first was Saturday afternoon and I was the boys’ parent volunteer but since there were only 2 boys my job quickly morphed into taking photos at the photo booth of all those that attended that wanted photos with the dressed up dancers. I did manage to make sure someone got a shot of Caedmon and myself as well. Caedmon did great dancing his part and all the dancers had fun. It was a lot of fun to watch the little girls look at awe at the big dancers. My family including my parents all attended on Sunday for that show. The kids were actually excited to get dressed up and do something fancy. Coppelia had one request and that was that she wanted a photo with Miss Abby who is the big angel in the scene where she is a little angel. Miss Abby was more than excited to get her photo taken with Coppelia and Coppelia thought Miss Abby was so beautiful in her Spanish costume. Paxton was quite impressed with the little fancy spoons to stir his tea and everyone enjoyed the delicious treats we were served. Caedmon danced great and we all had fun watching him do something that he loves so much. After the show Coppelia saw her other favorite person, Miss Claire who is her ballet teacher so she got a photo with her as well. It was a great weekend and so well done and made us all excited for the official Nutcracker in just 3 weeks!
