While I am slowly getting my blog back up, not so much for the world but so I can have it to look back on….missing roughly 2 years but I can only do so much.
The kids do APEX homeschool enrichment and one of the classes they can take is art. Which is good because I have no art ability….I mean I can draw a pretty mean stick figure but that’s about where my abilities end. So luckily there is an actual art teacher that can teach them and they get to try all different sorts of art mediums. And it is one of the classes I hear about every week….besides lunch and recess (those of course are the favorite classes). This year Caedmon, Edric, and Coppelia are all in art. I got an email a few weeks ago that said that we had a student or students with art in the district art show. It was fun to go and explore the art show and see a piece of art from each of them. They were very proud. Its amazing to watch them all grow and find ways to express themselves and learn new skills.
