Please pray for Edric JoonSoo. He turns 2 today. Pray that his heart is prepared for the transition that is about to happen as he joins our family. Pray for the loss of his first family that will always be with him during his life and the questions of where he came from and who he looks like and so on, that will likely be unanswered and yet a part of his entire life. Pray for the loss that he will encounter with leaving his foster family as they have had him since he was 4 months old. While he is gaining a forever family, he has already experienced so much loss and at such a young age. Pray for him as he grows, may he feel freedom to express his questions/hurts/losses and pray that we can help him answer some of those questions along the way. Pray that as he is ½ a world away that somehow he may know that he is loved and missed by his family over here. Pray that his day is filled with joy, as the world became brighter 2 years ago when he was born. Pray for his Birth mom on this day too, pray that her heart would be stilled and she may know that he is loved and cared for.
