Clint and I celebrated 15 years married on Thursday. In true fashion we celebrated with a hike. We got our timed entry pass to Rocky Mountain for 6 AM and were on the trail before 7AM. We had our bandannas ready and looked at times like we were out to rob the stagecoach but we had a great time. Our goal was Sky Pond but once we got above tree line there was still too much snow to make it. We forgot to pack out Yak-Tracks and that may have helped us push through the snow banks but we might still have had to turn around. As it was I took part of the trail coming down on my backside sliding a good portion of the way. We still did 9 miles and had a great day. Thankful for each day and year that we have been a team!
