Fishing!

Last week we got the chance to get away and go up to my Aunt’s cabin outside of Walden for a few days. Shortly after we arrived the kids were ready with their fishing poles and after eating a quick lunch we headed down the road to Grizzly Creek and spent the afternoon fishing. Just as we got to the creek a mama moose and her little one were grazing along the side of the Creek…..we made enough noise that they didn’t stick around but it was pretty amazing to watch them scamper off. I can’t say we caught many fish at all (maybe related to the fact that we might have had a few rock throwers in our group), I think my dad caught the few that we did, but we had a lot of fun. We spent the evening after fishing playing “Ticket to Ride” which is a great family game if you are looking for a new one.
