Sorry, weeks 14 and 15. It’s called it has been a crazy couple of weeks and it just didn’t happen. And so we are on week 16. At this stage in the game I’m kind of in maintenance mode. Everything it is growing, and so it’s just a matter of making sure that things are watered, weeds are pulled and the wind hasn’t blown a tomato plant down (which seems to have been the theme of the week). How do I know when to water? When thinks look droopy…sorry I can’t be more exact than that.
Flowers are blooming, especially my roses. They exploded this last week. And they look great. I love walking through the yard first thing every morning and checking to see how things are doing.
Apparently I’m not the only one who likes visiting my yard. I have a little bunny friend who has decided that my yard is the best place to hang out and eat all of my morning glory plants. I have heard that Irish Spring soap shavings spread around the yard will repel them. I haven’t tried it yet but I have found that the boy’s squirt guns do a pretty good job as well….
