One of the weekends in November Clint and I got the chance to get away for a few days for the first time in a very long time. We went to Granby and stayed in a little house. We planned 2 main things….hike and read books. And we did just that. It was very cold (as would be expected for November) but despite temperatures in the mid teens we hiked 6 miles the first day, nearly 5 the second a close to 2 the third day. And we read a lot. It has been a long time since we have been able to just sit back and get comfy and read books. We had lots of good conversations as well and enjoyed our much needed break and the beauty that only God can make in the snowy landscapes.
