I’m slowly getting caught up on my summer blogs. We actually celebrated July 4th a couple of evenings early because I worked both the evenings of the 3rd and 4th. We had a cookout and smores and then did some smoke bombs and sparklers. Paxton wasn’t so sure of the sparklers at first but with the help and encouragement of Honey and Grandpa he soon got right into it. Leighton wanted to be the one to light the fireworks off this year and he did a great job and everyone enjoyed the show he put on. On the actual day of July 4th the kids did their usual neighborhood July 4th parade and then we had the neighborhood kickball tournament which our street won this year and was a lot of fun.
