Despite 2020 being 2020 we had an excellent Thanksgiving. I was off this year which was really nice and we planned on going to my parents with my brother and sister in law and niece joining us because we’ve all stayed isolated (except for work for me), but my niece got sick so they ended up not joining us so it was us and my parents. None of us are big Turkey fans so we did ham and shrimp which was perfect. I had a bunch of fun photo booth things because we had set up a photo booth for the ballet during their filming of Nutcracker so I brought those things as well. We all had fun with the props and everyone worse at least something while we ate. After lunch my mom, Paxton and I went for a great walk. After walking we all played Apples to Apples and Caedmon won. We had some yummy pie that the kids and I had made (apple, pumpkin, and pecan) and then we played with the props some more. When it got dark we play hide-n-go-seek and sardines in the dark which made everyone laugh a lot. Those that had a bit of an appetite ate some more for dinner and then we called it a night. It was a great day and despite the way that the year has been we had a lot of fun, enjoyed laughing and just spending time together.
