When we escaped last month we spent the majority of our time in northern Arizona just outside of Page. We had found a Airbnb home that was close to Lake Powell and had a small swimming pool and was pretty isolated. Initially we had planned on spending 3 nights there but as all things virus started to fall and we realized our plans to visit a number of National Parks wasn’t going to happen we extended our time. And we had a blast. The kids were ready to hop in the pool from the moment that they finished breakfast in the morning and we watched the stars come out as we floated and played and giggled most evenings. We did take a couple of mornings to go on a few hikes, but other than that we pretty much lived in the pool. It was great and much needed.
