It’s that time of year where we start making decisions for next year. And while Paxton and Coppelia are both nearly the same age with only 10 weeks separating them they are miles apart as far as school readiness for next year. And that’s ok. They are their two own little people and while they function as a group more times then not they are individuals. And so after talking with their preschool teacher and just kind of coming to the realization ourselves, Paxton will move on to kindergarten next year and Coppelia is going to take another year through preschool. Between her speech delay and personality and everything she needs another year getting a little bit more of a stronger foundation. My brother and I were only 13 days apart and yet we were also miles apart as far as school readiness. And it’s easier to wait and hold her back a year now and get that foundation stronger so we can build on it from there. But let me tell you, (or warn you), when this girl is ready she is going to take the world by storm. And then some.
