March 23rd and 25th are always big days in our family. Caedmon’s birthday is March 23rd and Paxton’s family day is the 25th. We actually took custody of Paxton in Korea on the 23rd and I remember video chatting with the boys back home and introducing them to Paxton over the video chat and Caedmon saying “You got me a brother for my birthday!” As part of Caedmon’s birthday he and Clint and I headed down to Denver the weekend before to take him to Colorado Ballet and their production of Cinderella. We had a great time and he loved seeing the performance. On his birthday he opened some gifts and then that afternoon had a bunch of friends over who ran and played everywhere. On Saturday he and Paxton chose the birthday/family day dinner together to fit both of their likes and helped Clint make the gimbap while I baked brownies. We had a fun dinner celebrating both of them being in our family. After dinner we played “Throw Throw Burrito” which was a new game that Caedmon got from his friends and had lots of laughter. Our family is definately better because of both of these crazy fun boys in our family and we are so glad to have them.
