Christmas this year was full of laughter, peace and just a good time. It started early with the kids getting their stockings and opening gifts from Clint and I, which included one lego set for everyone and then one other thing. The kids made us neat things as well, a candle holder from Caedmon, coffee mugs from Leighton, a sign from Edric and ornaments from Paxton and Coppelia. Of course when we opened the ornaments from Coppelia she quickly told us that she wanted one to hang in her room too. My parents came over mid morning, my brother and his wife weren’t able to make it because she is very pregnant with their first and uncomfortable. We took photos and then opened gifts which was lots of fun. Coppelia became the official gift helper opener, she loves opening giftsThe kids got to watch Honey and Grandpa open the gifts that they all made which was really sweet. My parents made us a huge sign with all our names which is really cool. Clint and my dad then hung the reading nook tents for Paxton and Coppelia in their rooms and then we had a really good dinner. We had shrimp, broccoli salad, cranberry salsa, fruit salad, and rolls. Clint and my dad hung the sign and mom and I added lights and stars to the reading nooks and then we spent the afternoon and evening playing games. It was a very relaxed and enjoyable Christmas. Thankful for our sweet family and the chance to celebrate and remember the true meaning of the season.
