We have our first ripe tomatoes. Only 3 so far, but a bunch that are ready to ripen this week. I am getting excited about making salsa and pasta sauce. I’m not so sure my husband is ready to spend out evenings cutting and dicing. I keep reminding him that it is good time together. He asked me today after shredding multiple zucchinis if we could pull up the plant because he is over them.
We still have a number of tomatoes that are not yet ripe. But it’s been hot enough that hopefully they will start ripening.
Our pumpkin vines have taken over our garden but we are starting to get orange pumpkins. I’m not exactly sure how many we have because the back of our garden is a maze of vines. I’m sure we will find all sorts of surprises (as well as a number of balls that have disappeared) when it is time to pull everything up.
My roses are all blooming and just looking gorgeous. They make me smile every time I see them.
