Caedmon earned a scholarship and was able to dance at Colorado Ballet in Denver this summer for their summer intensive. He really enjoyed it, it was a bit of a drive getting him there and home each day as he wasn’t quite old or brave enough to spend the 3 weeks in a dorm. He enjoyed learning from the professional dancers and really enjoyed having other boys around to dance with and get to know. He was tired and sore each night but really enjoyed his time. After lots of discussion and decision making we decided that Caedmon will start taking all his dance from Colorado Ballet starting this fall. It will be a drive but ultimately it is the right decision for him right now. On the last day of the intensive all the levels performed a show with various dances and it was so fun to watch him, his face never lost it’s smile and he lite up the entire room.
