Caedmon had fun being the Assistant and the Nutcracker Prince this year for Centennial State Ballet’s Nutcracker. It was a busy week of rehearsals and shows but he had fun all the way through it. He has no qualms about being on stage and loved every moment of it. He loved all the rehearsals as well. I totally forgot to get photos of most of the people that came to see him preform but I did manage to get a photo of him and Uncle Chris. He loved his Sugar Plum Fairy, Hannah, and really he was Mr Popular with all the dancers and has friends throughout the company. He was also good friends with Ella who played Clara as they have been in class together for the past number of years. I told Clint, our family has 3 seasons, Summer, Nutcracker, and Gymnastics…and so we close this season as Leighton and Paxton’s first gymnastics meet is quickly approaching. I enjoyed working backstage again with the amazing group of moms who have become dear friends. It has been fun watching their daughters all grow and shine as well. Caedmon was disappointed after the last show and on the way home told me “I wish there were more shows”. Hopefully next year they can add an additional show. It was a great week and he did so well with such a large part.
