Because Caedmon doesn’t actually get to see the Nutcracker show because he is in it and we have to wait for his company to post and make available the recording of his shows we have made it a tradition to go to the Colorado Ballet production in Denver and watch one of their shows. And Caedmon has it down, he has his favorite sandwich shop where he knows he can get a gluten free sandwich and then he likes to be first inline before the doors open at the opera house to get in. Once in he goes to get his photo taken in front of the ballet statues and then walks each of the floors in the lobby all the way to the top. This year we found a new set of ballet statues as we explored all the floors. And then of course he is first in line in front of the door that is closest to wherever we are sitting and I’m pretty sure we were the first ones in our seats when the doors opened. And he loved every minute of the ballet. He waited in the lobby after to see if he could find any dancers to tell them good job but we didn’t find any. Nonetheless it was a successful fun night enjoying one of his favorite things.
