Coppelia joined American Heritage Girls this year and has been working hard to earn her joining badge and Monday night she got to celebrate her hard work. She had to memorize the pledge and the AHG motto and pledges. As part of the joining ceremony she had a candle with her name on it that she moved over to join and become part of her troop’s candles. She was very excited and she is already trying to figure out what other badges she wants to earn. She has two sweet friends, Daphne and Annalise (who are sweet sisters) in her troop who are the ones that told us about AHG. She and Annalise came home less than 6 months apart and now on the other side of the world get to be friends and build memories together.
