First Day of School and Tie-Dye…

We started school on the 16th. In typical fashion as we’ve been doing since Leighton was in preschool everyone got their graduation year shirts and we filled out the boards of likes and what everyone wants to be when they grow up. Edric has decided that he’s going to launch rockets and Paxton plans on mowing lawns, plus we’ve got the physical therapist in Leighton and plans to be a ballet dancer in Caedmon and Coppelia is going to own her own bakery. This year Coppelia is rocking kindergarten, Paxton is 1st, Edric is 3rd, Caedmon is 4th and Leighton is 7th. This time of year we can do school outside which we did and made it through our first week. The kids will start their homeschool enrichment program on Wednesdays starting the second week of school and for the first time in 10 years (counting preschool) we will have all our kids at one thing for an entire day each week. I’m not sure Clint and I will know what to do. The other new thing with our curriculum this year is that the kids are taking formal Korean Lessons every Friday over zoom which they all really liked the first week and hoping that continues. To celebrate our first day we made tie-dye t shirts which was a lot of fun. I will need to get a photo of everyone in theirs once I get them through the wash. Looking forward to this year and all that these kids are going to learn and thankful for the opportunity to teach them along side Clint.
