On Sunday we drove into Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument and explored the Willis Creek Slot Canyon. It was an amazing hike, we dropped into the slot canyon right at the beginning and followed it down nearly 2 1/2 miles. The walls kept getting higher and higher there were all sorts of nooks and crannies for the kids to climb into and explore. There was a little stream running through the slot canyon that we just jumped back and forth over. The weather was perfect and we had an amazing time hiking it. When we got back to the start we ate our lunches that were packed in the car. It won’t be a hike we forget anytime soon.
