Traveling with kids is an adventure. And our kids do pretty well. Rest stops are a huge help though. And we don’t typically rest at the rest stops….we run and jump and climb and do whatever is needed to get some much needed energy out. Our trip to Arizona was no different. At one stop we ran laps around some rocks at one stop. And after a number of laps one way we ran around backwards. Somewhere in the middle of Arizona there was a rest stop with huge big red rocks. We climbed all over those rocks and ran around them….according to my watch I put in 2 miles just at the rest stop through all the climbing and running and chasing kiddos around. It was also the first place the kids saw a lizard and they insisted that I take a photo.
