For Christmas my brother got the boys a red truck that they can drive around the yard and my parents got them matching wheel barrows and garden tools. They couldn’t be happier. Any day that it is decently nice (a term used loosely, basically if I can bundle them warm enough they its deemed “nice enough”) then the boys are outside digging up my garden and hauling dirt around. Usually the dirt is somewhat like mud since we’ve had a decent amount of snow (don’t even ask what my floors look like…lets just say my broom and mop are getting a workout). My garden is getting quite the workout and I’m not even sure that we will need to till it this spring… Leighton is already asking if we can plant a section just for him, which I’m all for. He tells me often as he loads his truck up and hops in to make a trip around the yard that he’s “just like grandpa”.
