Once again this summer Leighton spent a week at the Air Force for gymnastics camp and had a great week. One of his teammates from his gym was his roommate and they made good friends with two other rooms of boys and the 6 spent all week together. He sent me a photo of his dorm room just after moving in….I’m pretty sure it was only that clean just that day. He gained some new skills and was really excited about all that he learned. We made triple sure this year that he was on the dietary needs list since he has Celiacs and that was a bit of a problem last year. We packed extra food but they were also able to accommodate his dietary restrictions so that went better. Caedmon went with me on the last day to watch him show off some of his skills which was fun to see. Another boy from their gym was also there that week but wasn’t old enough to stay in the dorms but the older boys were glad to see him and they all enjoyed the week.
