On Saturday December 19th we got to celebrate Caedmon’s baptism. And being 2020 we did it in true 2020 Covid style….outside in the hot tub with his friends using google meets to watch and cheer him on. Our good friends Jeff and Sarah and their daughters as well as my parents joined us outside in the cold and wind. Caedmon had made the decision a few months ago, it just took us a little while to figure out how to set it all up and figure it out with all things COVID and finally just decided that we’ll do it true COVID style. Caedmon was able to tell us the importance of his decision and what it means and that he wants to spend his life following after Jesus and loving others. I was really proud of him and it was an honor for Clint to baptize him. My mom made some yummy cupcakes to celebrate that the kid all enjoyed those after they swam in the hot tub for a bit. Jeff and Sarah got Caedmon a cross necklace which he has not stopped wearing since then. Clint and I got him a Bible that he can color verses throughout which he was really excited about. It was a really special day for a very big decision and we are so proud and excited for Caedmon.
