With school out we took the day to go and explore and play at the zoo. And the kids had a blast. The weather was perfect, not too hot, but comfortably warm. Many of the birds were not out because of the bird flu, but we happened to walk by the penguins for the daily outside swim so the kids were really excited about that. Their favorite was of course the manta-rays and feeding and petting those at the end, but really we had an all around great day and it was very refreshing. It was a great day.
