We did virtual Korea Camp this past weekend. With all things COVID it didn’t make sense to have camp in person this year but I know that we are all looking forward to having it in person next year. Friday night was opening ceremonies and the kids were all excited to wear their handboks. Edric is quickly outgrowing his so I will need to track down another one. Saturday morning started with the two littles doing a session on hanboks with some great puppets my friend Lori made. The session was taught by a Korean School teacher and she did a great job and the kids had fun. They had some hanboks to color and make paper dolls with as well. The older kids did Tae Kwon Do and then a year of the ox craft. Leighton had all sorts of activities with the middle school group. In the afternoon there were a couple of parent sessions which are always good and we finished the day out with an epic dance party. It was a great camp but we are all looking forward to being back in person next summerj!
