Last Wednesday Paxton was pretty sure that he completed his entire school career because he graduated. Granted he graduated from Apex’s (our homeschool enrichment program) kindergarten. And because of all things this year he actually only attended 6 weeks, he started after spring break, had a week off when the older kids had testing and was sick one week….so you know. He’s pretty sure this school thing is pretty cush if he only has to go 6 times and then graduate….at this rate he’ll have his PhD by next March. Despite all the things that his year has brought, the teachers worked hard to make it a special moment despite being in the parking lot, the upside being all the kids got to take their masks off because we were outside so it was sweet to see their little faces. The kids also got to meet their new first grade teacher for next year after posing with their kindergarten teacher which was pretty sweet. He made some friends in his little class which is really the most important thing in kindergarten anyway. So now he’s on to bigger and better things….like first grade!
