My little garden is coming along. I’ve got some tomatoes set on, and finally the onions that I planted by seed are starting to sprout, the ones that were bulbs look great. We had a ton of lettuce and are eating lots of fresh salads right now. My corn is sprouting and growing great. My watermelons still look a little small but they will catch up. My beans are almost big enough to start growing on the bean tower and I think we will have some nice pumpkins this year.
The bees are doing well as well. We found a comb completely packed with pollen and lots of capped honey in the combs as well. The queen was busy moving along the comb and there was a lot of brood and larva that we could see. The kids are all excited for honey at some point this summer hopefully but in the mean time we have learned a ton about this fascinating creature.
