Tri #3

So I think I’ve officially been bitten by the Tri-Bug. I completed my 3rd sprint tri last weekend and had a blast. I got to do it with 3 fun friends which made it all the more fun.

I had moved on from my goal being to just finish to actually doing better on each stage. And I actually did. Not great improvements by any means but very noticeable improvements which was great.

The best part was having my two boys there cheering me on. I saw them along each section and they helped me run the last 100 yards. That was the best part.

In fact I’m considering moving up to the Olympic Distance next year, which is a mile swim, a 24 mile bike and a 10K run. We will see. I’ve learned that if I have goals then I can focus on them and it gives me something to work on during the winter.
