It has been months since I last updated this blog. We are all still here it has just been a matter of keeping all 7 of us alive, fed, clothed, and functioning. And so there hasn’t been a ton of extra time around to update and keep up with this. I can’t promise I will do a much better job this year but I’m going to try….
Everyone is doing well, as a quick rundown, Leighton just turned 16 and will be getting his license in the next few days. He’s rocking gymnastics and will compete as a level 9 this year. He’s got 2-3 AP courses on his plate for this school year which will be his junior year and he’s starting to look at colleges.
Caedmon is our newest teenager and still dancing through everything. He finished his 2nd year at Colorado Ballet and is gearing up to start his 3rd year. He is still playing the cello and loves to read any and every book he can find but especially mystery books. He’s finishing out his middle school years this year getting ready to start 8th grade.
Edric loves all things scouts and just returned from a week of scout camp where he learned a ton and had a lot of fun. He’s going to start learning the guitar this year. He loves to tinker with everything and anything. He will be starting 7th grade in just a few weeks.
For Paxton anything he can find he turns into a drum. He loves all things music and is taking drum lessons, starting his 2nd year of cello and still can play anything he hears on the piano if you give him just enough time. He’s still active with gymnastics and is growing in new skills all the time if he is not actually growing in height….He loves to read.
Coppelia is still loud and proud with everything she does. She loves riding horses, and her dream is to have a bakery and run a horse farm. She is learning how to play the violin and loves her American Heritage Girls troop and all the activities she gets to do with that.
Clint and I are busy keeping everyone alive and to their various activities. We sleep well. It has been a blessing to watch each of these kids grow and see the little (and big) people they are becoming.
