We had a family gingerbread house decorating night to celebrate my dad’s birthday and just for fun. My dad teamed up with my niece Johanna and my mom ended up as the chief construction manager for a few different houses but then ultimately was the judge for each house. Everyone had fun even if their houses fell apart or required some adjustments…..I may have stretched my luck and I just made a nice tent in the forrest next to a lake with fishing poles…..mine never fell over. Caedmon made a train and I teased Leighton based on how he had the candy canes set on the doors that he had made a “love shack” which of course just embarrassed him which was my whole point. I’m pretty sure my dad’s and niece’s fell over at least 3 different times. We all had a blast and it was a great way to spend the evening.
