This fall Coppelia started Heritage Girls and has really been enjoying it. It is very similar to scouts and this past weekend she went with her troop to learn how to fish. Clint, my dad and brother Paul were the ones that taught all the girls how to fish and they all had a great afternoon. They weren’t very successful but they had a ton of fun. They have spent the past couple of meetings learning all about how to be safe with fishing and tools/supplies that they need. Last night when I picked her up from her meeting she was very excited to show me her new tackle box and all the things in it. They also do service projects and part of last night’s meeting was putting together 30 Operation Christmas Child boxes. She is very excited to earn badges and patches to go on her vest. She has a couple of little friends in her troop and I am excited to watch her grow and have fun with all her adventures.
