Two weekends ago Paxton had his second gymnastics meet. He was very excited about it and it was way down in Monument Colorado so he and I headed down there together for the afternoon. He did great and has definitely been improving! The meet only had two judges because one of the judges had to cancel at the last minute and so the meet went much longer than typically and I could tell by his last event on high bars he was very tired. He had been excited all week because he had gotten a new skill on high bars and was excited to compete it. Unfortunately he tried it but didn’t make it but I was really proud of him for trying his new skill. We stopped for rice bowls on the way home and he even got some root beer which made him really excited. It was fun to spend the afternoon with him and watch him compete.
