Saturday evening we grabbed some of the pumpkins that we had grown and spent some time carving them. Paxton and Coppelia (and Clint and I) chose to use pre-set patterns to make our pumpkins. Leighton, Caedmon and Edric free-formed theirs. Everyone scooped out their own pumpkins which was a first ever in our house and all the kids worked together to get their pumpkins made. In the end they all looked great and while we had to scramble a bit to find candles that would work in each, we found enough to light the pumpkins. Everyone had a great time and worked together on their creations.
