Honey and Salsa and Jam…

It’s that time of year where my kitchen island is often covered in veggies or fruit as I harvest things from my garden. I’ve already got a couple of different batches of tomatillo salsa made and in the fridge and freezer. Edric and I were able to harvest another near 400 ounces of honey as well a couple of weeks ago. And then my parents traveled to the western slope of Colorado and brought back some peaches so I’ve been spending my evenings making peach freezer jam which tastes so good. Clint’s been grilling squash on the side and as usual we’ve had a lot of zucchini bread. It’s fun to see what we planted and worked on all year come together.
