It’s not very often that Caedmon gets alone time with Mommy. There is often a bigger brother involved. It can be rough being the little brother. So whenever there is an opportunity to have a little time with just Caedmon I try and take it.
We had such an opportunity last week while Leighton was at a sports camp every morning. So one of the mornings we hitched up the bike trailer and road to a park about 5 miles away. Nothing really special about the park except it was not one of our usual parks and so it made it kind of fun. Caedmon loves riding in the bike trailer which makes the trip that much easier.
The weather was kind of dreary and it had actual sprinkled a little on our ride over. But a little rain didn’t stop us. It did however makes the slides a bit wet which we forgot until after we had slid down them…Oops.
All in all it was just a fun morning. Soft often the little one gets brought a long and just goes with the flow with the older one, but it was a good reminder to stop and remember to just spend some one on one time with him. I look forward to more times together.
